According to CTOnews.com, less than a week after its launch, the number of Threads users of Meta soared to 100 million, making it the first mobile app ever to reach this milestone in such a short time.

Twitter boss Elon Musk lashed out at Mark Mark Zuckerberg on Twitter, calling him a "soft egg" and holding an "indescribable" measurement game with him.

CTOnews.com notes that Mr Musk has been highly critical of Meta since it launched Threads, Twitter's direct competitor, last week. Musk has been following Threads for the past few days, saying that Threads "just Instagram removed the image, which doesn't make sense, because hungry pictures are the main reason people use the app." Musk even sued him, accusing Meta of poaching former Twitter employees to create "copycat" apps.

Musk's attack on Zuckerberg today is more direct, escalating to a personal attack.

It is worth mentioning that Musk and Zuckerberg have accumulated conflicts for a long time, and the two even openly quarreled with each other to have a showdown.

Musk's Twitter is still in the lead, with an estimated 368 million global Twitter users as of December 2022, according to Statista.
