CTOnews.com July 11, Porsche recently launched a new My Porsche application, which further enhances the control of CarPlay over vehicles, and can control audio, air conditioning temperature, lighting and entertainment functions in CarPlay.

Porsche deeply integrates CarPlay functions into the new My Porsche app, specifically, it can change the radio station, adjust the seat, control the temperature in the car, adjust the lighting and so on. CTOnews.com also learned from the report that all available vehicle functions can be controlled using Siri voice commands to avoid submitting each other during driving.

Porsche owners can activate this function by scanning the QR code displayed in the PCM, and the new CarPlay function will be provided to Porsche owners during development.

The first vehicle to support the new My Porsche App and CarPlay integration is the new Porsche Cayenne, which is now on the market. The updated application will be extended to other models in the future.
