Weilai ES6 pure electric SUV 150kWh battery pack launched this month: weighs 575kg and can last 930km

CTOnews.com reported on July 11 that in May this year, Xilai released ES6 pure electric SUV,75kWh battery version (490km) for 368000 yuan, 100kWh battery version (625km) for 426000 yuan, and said it will launch 150kWh battery pack (930km) in July.

Weilai recently updated the user's manual of ES6 vehicles, revealing more information about 150 kWh battery packs. The 150kWh battery pack weighs 575kg, 3.6 per cent heavier than the 100kWh battery (555kg).

The battery pack contains 384 batteries, which is higher than the 96 batteries in the 100kWh battery pack provided by Ningde era. The battery energy density is 360 Wh / kg.

CTOnews.com consulted the user's manual and found that the battery had a rated voltage of 3.31V and a rated capacity of 110Ah.

Like other battery packs in the Ningde era, the 150kWh battery packs are 2062 mm in length, 1539 mm in width and 185.6 mm in height.

When the flagship car ET7 was launched at the Weilai Day 2020 event on January 9, 2021, Xilai released a 150kWh semi-solid battery, which it said would allow the car to have a range of more than 1000 kilometers.

He said at the time that the new Nio ES6 SUV could travel 930km with a 150kWh battery pack and that the SUV usually uses more energy than cars because of greater wind resistance.
