Huawei headset new patent: integrated camera to improve travel safety

Huawei has patented computer vision technology that can be used to identify images, track motion and extract data from images, allowing computing systems to automatically identify objects in a single picture or video frame, or to identify human activity on a series of video frames.

Huawei says it can improve AI's understanding of the real world through computer vision tasks such as scene understanding, 3D perception and gesture recognition.

Integrated cameras in headphones can identify patterns, gestures, goods and objects, expand 3D scanning and 3D photography, etc., and expand the user's field of vision to prevent users from immersing in songs while listening outdoors. I can't hear the reminders around me.

Another purpose of the patent is to improve travel safety by giving feedback to users according to the understanding of users and the environment when necessary.

Cameras mounted on earrings may have a limited field of vision. Therefore, the image can be effectively captured by configuring the sensor to avoid overlap.
