Starting from August 1, 2024, those who have not obtained the CCC certification certificate and marked the certification mark shall not be shipped, sold, imported or used in other business activities.
CCC certification, whose full name is China compulsory Product Certification (China Compulsory Certification), is a market access system for products related to human health, safety and environmental protection in accordance with the principles of marketization and internationalization.
Lithium-ion batteries, battery packs, mobile power supplies and other devices have certain potential risks due to the use of flammable organic electrolytes.
In terms of certification standards, lithium-ion batteries and battery packs are in accordance with the Safety Technical Specification for Lithium-ion batteries and Battery packs for Portable Electronic products (GB 31241), and mobile power supplies are based on Audio and Video, Information Technology and Communication Technology equipment part 1: safety requirements (GB 4943.1) and Safety Technical Specification for Lithium-ion batteries and Battery packs for Portable Electronic products (GB 31241).
In terms of certification implementation rules, CCC certification is carried out for the above-mentioned products, according to the mandatory Product Certification implementation rules for Electronic products and Safety Accessories (serial number: CNCA-C09-01Groupe 2023).
