Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen fan like pineapple, soft media new friend fcknyb clue delivery! CTOnews.com July 13 news, Apple on July 11 for iOS / iPadOS 16.5.1 and macOS 13.4.1 released emergency security response update (RSR), but caused users to be unable to access some sites and emergency withdrawal; Apple today after fixing the above problem, re-released the RSR update.

Users can access this update by configuring the app's regular system update mechanism, which includes iOS / iPadOS Security Response 16.5.1 (c) and macOS Ventura Security Response 13.4.1 (c).

Apple first introduced Rapid Security Response (RSR) late last year, designed to enable Apple to automatically push urgent security fixes to devices without requiring users to make a full iOS update. The goal is to get the device protected as quickly as possible without waiting for the user to update it.

CTOnews.com notes that in the past iOS security updates were often bundled with new feature updates, meaning users who wanted to stay secure had to update to the latest version of the operating system, even if they didn't want or need the new features.

Many people hesitate to update their devices for this reason because they don't want to change the way their devices work. By separating security from feature updates, Apple makes it easier for users to stay safe.
