CTOnews.com July 13, Porsche celebrates the 30th anniversary of Goodwood Speed Festival with a new retro-style concept sports car called Vision 357 Speedster.

Porsche's Vision 357 Speedster is based on the 718 Cayman GT4 e-Performance, inspired by the iconic 356, with engines and batteries from the Mission R.

The Vision 357 Speedster concept car uses the same chassis as the 718 GT4 Clubsport, and no official power data will be released.

CTOnews.com Note: The Mission R has 1072 horsepower, 2.5 seconds of 100-kilometer acceleration and a top speed of 186 mph (299 kph).

While performance is important in Porsche models, the biggest highlight of this Vision 357 Speedster concept is the exterior design.

Porsche said that like the original 356 Speedster, the Vision 357 Speedster concept car features a shorter windshield and more emphasis on the overall shape of the car.

The curvy body features a two-tone paint scheme consisting of Grivelo Grey metallic and marble grey, Grivelo Grey on the front wheels, a 75 logo decal on the hood and the words "1948-2023."

On the wheel side, the size is 20 inches, made of magnesium and very light. Carbon fibre hubcaps and centre locks trace back to older Porsche wheel designs, namely the 356A and 356B models with drum brakes.
