According to foreign technology media GoAndroid reports, Samsung Extended Reality (XR) headset batteries have been certified by three market regulators in South Korea, India and China, further indicating that Samsung will launch XR headsets by the end of this month.
According to the information displayed on SafetyKorea certification platform, Samsung XR headset will be equipped with EB-BI 610 ABY battery, which should be the successor of EB-BI 120 ABY battery.
CTOnews.com quoted the media report as saying that Samsung's upcoming AR glasses (model SM-I120) and XR headsets will be equipped with the battery.
EB-BI 610 ABY battery has also been approved by India BIS and China CQC certification platforms. This suggests that the XR headset may be launched not only in South Korea, but also in India and China, with blurred battery images and unclear capacity details.
