This conventional mask process is mature, but the drawback is that the resolution is up to 500 pixels per inch, and it is expensive and heavy, so it is difficult to expand to a larger panel.

To solve this problem, Hunetplus has developed a groundbreaking deposition mask that is not only lighter and cheaper, but also produces panels with higher pixel density.

Specifically, the company has been focused on developing 6000 ppi display technology, which is seen by the Ministry of Science and ICT as the key to the development of extended reality devices.

Hunetplus said the new deposition mask has an ultra-high resolution OLED panel that produces 2000-8000 ppi.

Hunetplus predicts that the global market for ultra-fine metal masks in OLED displays is expected to grow at an average annual rate of more than 30%, and the masks developed will be recognized and supported by customers, including Apple, Samsung, LG, Sony and Facebook.
