CTOnews.com, July 15, Hyundai Motor reported that its global car sales in June this year were 375113, up 9.5% from a year earlier, and its cumulative sales in the first half of this year were 2081462, up 10.8% from a year earlier.

Global electric vehicle sales, including the Hyundai and Genesis brands, rose 80 per cent year-on-year to 31731 in June, accounting for 8.5 per cent of total sales, compared with 5.2 per cent in the same period last year, according to official figures released by Hyundai.

Pure electric vehicles: 25960, up 95% from the same period last year, accounting for 6.9%

Plug-in hybrid vehicles: 5771, up 32% from the same period last year, accounting for 1.5%

Total electric vehicles: 31731, up 80% from the same period last year, accounting for 8.5%
