Zhihu CEO Zhou Yuan responded to anonymous function offline: don't fall in love with the past, indulge in moving forward
CTOnews.com reported on July 16 that Zhihu had previously announced that the anonymous feature would be officially offline on July 14. At the 2023 New knowledge Youth Conference held yesterday, Zhou Yuan also mentioned the downline of the anonymous function.
Zhou Yuan, the official website of Tuyuan Zhihu, said: "We took off the anonymous function yesterday, saying goodbye to this 12-year-old function-not falling in love with the past; discussing, sharing, discovering and moving forward with a professional and real identity."
Zhou Yuan also introduced in his speech: "in April this year, Zhihu launched a new 'Little Blue Standard' authentication, that is, professional identity authentication. Little Blue label has been very popular in the past three months. Many of these certified bosom friends come from well-known enterprises, universities or institutions. After they obtained the "Little Blue Standard" certification, with professional content creation, the amount of attention and interaction have been improved, of which the interaction before and after certification has increased more than 10 times. "
Zhou Yuan stressed that after bidding farewell to anonymity, Zhihu will encourage professional identity authentication: "this fully shows that identity is the basis of community cohesion and a condition for content to bring trust. I hope more people like this function, making professionalism and authenticity more powerful."
CTOnews.com previously reported that Zhihu announced in early July that as an early product mechanism in the community, the anonymous function was originally intended to be launched on the basis of open discussion and friendly interaction among users, but with the increasing complexity of the Internet communication environment, Zhihu has completed the offline development of the anonymous function in the latest version of App in order to ensure benign discussion in the community.
