VIVE XR Elite package FOTA 4.5 update: low power notification can be added through PIN code wireless streaming

CTOnews.com July 17, VIVE XR Elite Suite will push the FOTA 4.5 update and release a new VIVE VIDEO app that can play videos in virtual reality / mixed reality.

Updates are attached to CTOnews.com:

Added wireless network firmware upgrades to enhance wireless network compatibility and fixed low data transmission errors to reduce resolution

The headset can stream wirelessly through PIN code, and the VIVE streaming center can keep the headset streaming host updated wirelessly without the need for plug-in operation.

If the headset does not have enough power supply, it will appear in low power mode, reducing the display effect and brightness, and the new version adds pop-up notifications to remind users to connect to the power supply.

Problems in optimizing the switching of tracking mode and optimal positioning

Firmware upgrade for rear batteries to better support power USB hubs and low-latency audio devices

Fixed a problem with connecting to computer USB in some cases

Launch a new VIVE VIDEO application that can play video in virtual reality / mixed reality, supporting 3D and 360 °video.

The HTC VIVE XR Elite package is equipped with four wide-field angle tracking cameras, a RGB color camera and a depth sensor for color penetration (color passthrough) of mixed reality.

The machine is equipped with two 90Hz refresh rate screens with 1920 x 1920 resolution and supports a field of view angle of 110 °. The rear removable battery supports hot plug and lasts for up to 2 hours at a price of 9888 yuan.
