CTOnews.com July 18 news, Nvidia recently released new vBIOS firmware for old Quadro and GeForce GTX series graphics cards, focusing on fixing the black screen problem when booting up the Win10 / Win11 system when the external monitor is connected through the DisplayPort 1.3 controller 1.4 interface.

Nvidia has also launched a special software tool that automatically detects whether specific graphics cards need to be updated, downloaded and installed on their own.

Nvidia's new firmware mainly fixes two problems with the external monitor through the DisplayPort: the black screen on the boot screen and the jam when it is opened for the first time, which should be fixed after upgrading the graphics cards such as Titan XP, Titan X (Pascal) and GTX 750Ti.

Nvidia also said it fixed these problems with Pascal video card models and Maxwell Quadro video cards, but officials did not provide a clear list of video cards.
