HMD Global plans to launch officially refurbished Nokia-branded phones and tablets this year
CTOnews.com July 18, HMD Global recently released the 2023 Sustainable Development Progress report, one of the most noteworthy improvements, plans to launch official refurbished equipment.
The service will initially be launched in the UK and Germany to provide consumers with officially refurbished Nokia-branded phones and tablets, followed by expansion to more countries and regions.
HMD said that in addition to the official sales renovation, some of the equipment and proceeds will be donated to charities. HMD announced a partnership with the The Unconnected charity to donate 700 mobile phones to digitally vulnerable groups, and a partnership with ClearRivers to help remove 3.5 tons of plastic from the river.
