Qunhui launches new DiskStation 124 and 224 + NAS cloud storage with quad-core processors

DS224+

DS224 + BWH is about 165x108x232.2mm in size and 1.3Kg in weight. The hardware is equipped with Intel Celeron J4125 processor, 2 GB DDR4 non-ECC memory, and supports up to 6GB memory (2 GB + 4 GB). The internal body can hold 2 hard drives and support hot plug.

According to the official introduction, compared with the previous generation model, DS224+ is 52% faster for file indexing in Synology Drive and 28% faster for Synology Photos image indexing, and can better run high-load applications.

The Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system on DS224 + uses a high-level Btrfs file system to protect data from corruption and to undo accidental or malicious changes by using snapshot technology.

In terms of connection, DS224 + comes with 2 USB-An interfaces, 2 wired network ports and security keyholes.

DS124

DS124 BWH is about 166x71x224mm in size and 0.7Kg in weight. The hardware is equipped with Realtek RTD1619B processor and 1 GB DDR4 non-ECC memory, and the internal body can hold 1 hard disk to support Btrfs system.

In terms of connection, the NAS body comes with 1 gigabit cable network port and 2 USB-An interfaces.
