Aston Martin recalls some imported DBX series cars in China, and the battery is unstable.

(hereinafter referred to as "Aston Martin China") filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products.

According to the recall plan, Aston Martin China will recall five 2023 DBX series cars produced between June 11, 2022 and July 25, 2022.

The reason for the recall: the fixed bracket of the 48V battery is not installed in the vehicle within the scope of this recall due to the error in the production process. In the event of a vehicle collision, the 48V battery may move, which will increase the risk of vehicle damage or personnel injury, and there are hidden dangers.

Aston Martin China said that "through authorized dealers, vehicles within the recall area will be inspected and installed with 48V battery fixed brackets free of charge to eliminate safety risks."

CTOnews.com learned from the website of the State Administration of Market Supervision that this issue (July 19), a total of four automakers issued recall plans in China. In addition to Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz recalled some imported S-Class and EQS vehicles, totaling 32786 vehicles; FAW Toyota recalled some bZ3 vehicles, totaling 12205 vehicles; marked Citroen recalled imported Dieys DS 3 pure electric vehicles, totaling 49 vehicles.
