IGN rated the best game TV in 2023: domestic brands TCL and Hisense were on the list.
CTOnews.com July 19 news, IGN recently released the best game TV list in 2023, domestic brands TCL and Hisense each have a TV on the list, LG, Sony and Samsung have two products on the list.
IGN commented that the first thing game TV should pay attention to is the refresh rate. If you want the smoothest way to play games, you should look for TVs with a higher refresh rate. All the products on the list offer 4K / 120Hz, which perfectly matches the specifications of PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
In addition, variable refresh rate (VRR) is critical for immersing in PS5 and Xbox games. VRR helps eliminate screen tearing by adjusting FPS to match the content of the game system, and most game TVs now use some type of VRR technology, whether FreeSync or G-Sync.
IGN believes that the HDMI 2.1 interface may be the most key specification to pay attention to when buying game TVs. If you want to experience 4K / 120Hz games, you will need this interface. HDMI 2.0 interface only provides the refresh rate of 60Hz at 4K resolution.
