Amazon announces that all its Whole Foods supermarkets will introduce palmprint payment technology by the end of the year.
CTOnews.com, July 20 (Xinhua)-- Amazon announced today that consumers will be able to use palmprint payment technology Amazon One in all its Whole Foods supermarkets by the end of this year, according to CNBC.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Amazon had previously introduced the technology in its Amazon Go unmanned cashier store and later began to introduce it to Whole Foods supermarkets. Amazon One currently has more than 200 Whole Foods stores and will expand to about 500 stores in the coming months.
Amazon also said today that demand for the technology is "growing" and that Amazon One has been used 3 million times.
Amazon is increasingly aggressively marketing its physical retail technology to third parties and has signed agreements with airport stores, stadiums and music venues to install its palmprint payment technology and an unmanned cashier checkout system called "Just Walk Out".
