CTOnews.com July 21, the Dolphin simulator development team announced in March this year that it would launch the Steam platform in the second quarter of this year; however, in May this year, the team announced that the plan was "postponed indefinitely"; recently, the official confirmed that the plan to launch the Steam platform has been abandoned completely.

The Dolphin simulator development team said in a blog post today that Nintendo officials did not send DMCA notifications to the team or Valve to prevent the software from being put on the Steam platform.

The blog said Valve's legal team contacted Nintendo to ask if the simulator could be put on the Steam platform.

Nintendo then asked Valve not to put Steam on the simulator.

Valve then informed the Dolphin simulator development team to communicate with Nintendo and get permission before it could be put on the shelves.

Dolphin is a very popular simulator that can run Nintendo Wii and GameCube games on platforms such as PC, Mac and Android.
