CTOnews.com, July 21 (Xinhua)-- according to "later LatePost", pinduoduo's cross-border e-commerce platform TEMU plans to open to local sellers in the US market, but there is no clear launch date. The analysis points out that the arrival of local sellers will not only enrich the supply of goods on the platform, but also improve the shopping experience of consumers. For example, shipping goods from home will greatly reduce logistics time.

Recently, TEMU has made continuous actions in strengthening ecological construction in overseas markets. Pinduoduo launched the office social app "Whalek" overseas this month, and TEMU merchants have begun to use the App for social chat and business work.

In addition, TEMU entered the Asian market for the first time this month, and the drop-down menu on its website already supports the selection of Japan as the target country for shipments.

Temu's sales model has so far been popular in the West, especially given that many consumers in Europe and the United States have been grappling with inflation and cost of living crises. Since its launch in the United States in September last year, Boston-based Temu has expanded to 22 other countries and regions, and many of them are in the forefront or even the top of the App download list.

In April this year, Temu launched in a number of European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and so on, many of which are priced below $0.90 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 6.453 yuan) or 1 pound (currently about 9.24 yuan), which is attractive to consumers in Europe and the United States.
