CTOnews.com learned from official tweets that after the ChatGPT iOS version was launched in May, officials said they would release the Android version "soon." From the screenshot, the Android version of ChatGPT is roughly the same as the iOS version, which means that the Android version may have most of the features of the current version, and most likely can synchronize conversations and preferences across devices.
OpenAI said the Android version may first be launched in the United States, without mentioning plans in other countries, but may follow in a few months-the iOS version of ChatGPT will expand to more than 30 other countries a week after its launch in the United States.
According to data.ai, an application intelligence company, downloads of ChatGPT iOS passed the 500000 mark in six days, surpassing other artificial intelligence and chat robot applications, including Microsoft's Edge and Bing.
It is worth mentioning that the ChatGPT iOS version supports subscription to ChatGPT Plus services and charges $20 a month in the United States (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB143).
