CTOnews.com, July 24 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- Video editing software DaVinci Resolve (Leonardo da Vinci) recently ushered in an 18.5 official update, which officials say is a major update, adding new AI tools and more than 100 new features.

The official version of DaVinci Resolve 18.5 includes a large set of quick page editing tools, text-based editing, AI dialogue transcription, new Resolve FX special effects, Fusion tools enhancements such as Universal Screen Descriptor support, and Fairlight mixing automation.

In addition, the new version of the quick-editing page features three new menus, including various tools and turning on or off ripple editing, resynchronizing audio, and so on. Users can also use the automatic voice-to-text feature to quickly generate subtitles for the timeline and to speed up editing by searching for keywords.
