1 million small new energy vehicle license plates will be launched in Anhui, and Anhui AA will be used in Hefei.

CTOnews.com, July 24, according to Anhui Public Security Traffic Police online official account news on July 21, 1 million small new energy vehicle license plates will be released in the province by the end of this year. At present, 700000 small new energy vehicle license plates will be released at one time, while the remaining 300000 will be "released on demand at the right time."

Among them, the provincial capital Hefei will put in 100000 small new energy vehicle license plates, including 60,000 pure electric small new energy vehicle license plates, and use the Wan AA section, while the remaining 40,000 will be used for non-pure electric small new energy vehicles. The remaining 15 prefectures and cities will each put in 40,000 units, including 20,000 pure electric and non-pure electric small new energy vehicles.

Car owners can use the "traffic control 12123" mobile phone App to pre-select the number plate on the Internet, or they can go to the DMV, vehicle registration service station and vehicle management workstation "50 choose 1" to select the number randomly.

CTOnews.com noted that most of the existing new energy vehicle license plates begin with the prefix D (pure electric vehicle) and F (not pure electric vehicle), but there are also other letters for pure electric vehicles such as "A", "B", "C" and "E", as well as other letters "G", "H", "J" and "K" for non-pure electric vehicles.

When the initial "D" or "F" segments of the DMV in a certain area are issued, new segments such as "A" or "G" will be issued. At present, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and other places have begun to issue new segments with the initials "A".
