A new shortcut key is added to the web version of Microsoft Word to quickly select pictures.

CTOnews.com July 25 news, Microsoft software engineer responsible for accessibility Isabel Bolger recently posted a blog post on Microsoft 365 blog, announcing the addition of three shortcut keys for the web version of Word application, convenient for users to quickly select pictures.

Bolger said that the current web version of Word only supports mouse or touchpad selection of images, and the newly introduced keyboard shortcuts help improve user productivity. CTOnews.com summarizes the information as follows according to the official blog post:

Select the first image Users open a document in the web version of Word, using Ctrl+Alt+G on Windows devices, and Cmd+Alt+G on Mac devices to quickly navigate to the first image of the document.

Go to next picture For documents that contain multiple graphics, you can use the Tab key to navigate to the next picture in the document.

Go to previous picture For documents containing multiple graphics, press Shift+Tab to access the previous picture.
