CTOnews.com July 26, Reuters reported that Alibaba Cloud recently announced that the company has become the first Chinese enterprise to support Meta open source AI model Llama and allow its Chinese enterprise users to develop programs based on the model.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Meta and Microsoft recently launched Llama 2, Meta's next-generation open-source large-scale language model, which can be used for research and commercial purposes free of charge. Microsoft says Llama 2 is designed to help developers and organizations build generative AI tools and experiences.

Alibaba Cloud yesterday said through its official Weixin Official Accounts that it launched the first series of training and deployment solutions for Llama2 in China and welcomed all developers to create customized large models on Alibaba Cloud.

Alibaba Cloud said that in order to facilitate the developer group, Alibaba Cloud machine learning platform PAI took the lead in deep adaptation of Llama2 series models in China, and launched the best practice scheme of lightweight fine tuning, full parameter fine tuning, reasoning service and other scenarios to help developers quickly retrain based on Llama2 and build their own exclusive large models.
