When you want to email someone a link to a file, simply enter a name, a group or an email, and the system will give you advice based on your most commonly used collaborators.

You can also choose to add a short message, and after clicking "send", OneDrive will create an email and send it to the recipient of your choice!

Microsoft has also simplified the process of copying files and sending them to other Microsoft 365 applications:

After users copy the file, they can paste it directly into a Microsoft Teams chat, document, or email, and adjust the access rights of others.

If you want finer control over how other people access your files, such as granting them permission to edit, view, review, or if you want to block downloads, simply click the gear icon for further customization.
