Microsoft Bing Chat and Bing Search began to push dark mode

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Liu233 for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, July 27 (Xinhua)-- Jordi Ribas, head of engineering and product at Microsoft Bing, recently tweeted to open dark mode to all Bing chat (Bing Chat) and Bing search (Bing Search) users "in the next few days."

Ribas said in a subsequent tweet that desktop Bing users can open the Bing.com website, click the hamburger menu in the upper right corner to enable dark mode, and users can look and feel the "appearance" setting option, and then select the "dark" option.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Microsoft has opened Bing chat access to Google's Chrome and Apple's Safari browsers, and users can simply visit the Bing.com website to communicate with the chatbot.

However, there are some limitations to using Bing Chat on Chrome and Safari browsers. For example, users cannot enter more than 2000 words, while on Microsoft's own Edge browser, the limit is 4000.

Moreover, the conversation between the user and the chatbot can only last five rounds, not 30 rounds. In addition, users will see some pop-up windows that prompt them to download the Edge browser.
