Yiwei Lithium can sign a memorandum of understanding with EA Group to build a battery production base in Thailand

CTOnews.com July 27 news, Yiwei lithium energy today in Shenzhen Stock Exchange announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA Group), to jointly establish a joint venture company in Thailand, with the joint venture company as the main body of implementation to build at least 6GWh battery production base.

▲ CTOnews.com learned from the announcement that EA Group is a company incorporated in Thailand and is currently engaged in a full range of renewable energy businesses, including biodiesel manufacturers, renewable energy power developers, electric vehicle and electric vehicle charger developers and operators, and lithium primary battery manufacturers.

In the new joint venture, the investment structure and benefit-sharing should be based on EA Group 51% and Yiwei Lithium Energy 49%, with net profits shared 50:50. The signing of this MOU will facilitate the full integration of superior resources and synergy between the two parties, and promote the smooth development of the company's overseas business to support the needs of customers in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Yiwei Lithium Energy had previously announced plans to build factories in Malaysia, Hungary and other countries.
