Apple customizes the size of the approved Vision Pro head display developers and requires matching AirTag when using it.
CTOnews.com, July 28 (Xinhua) Bloomberg Mark Mark Gurman recently posted a blog post that Apple asked developers who applied for the Vision Pro developer kit to provide relevant information in order to provide them with the right headband and Light Seal.
Apple requires approved applicants to use the Measure and Fit app to confirm the appropriate size, and will customize different Vision Pro developer kits based on the information submitted by the applicant to match the applicant's facial features and provide a better wearing experience.
Approved developers need to choose headbands and Light Seal sizes. CTOnews.com Note: Light Seal is a circle of rubber that fits the face. Apple has added an animation guide to the latest beta version to show users how to change the Light Seal to suit different face shapes.
The "W" in the image above may refer to the width, while the "N" can refer to the size of the bridge of the nose, which is used to fit the measurements of glasses clips and other optical devices.
Apple has also asked developers who need corrective clips to contact Zeiss directly to provide Zeiss with eye-related information.
Apple's developer website also mentioned the need to unpair with AirTag when returning the Vision Pro developer kit, indicating that developers need to pair AirTag for tracking during use.
CTOnews.com previously reported that when Apple requires developers not to use the DK, they need to put it in the Pelican case and lock it in a locked space (for example, a locked room or closet, safe or locked drawer).
