CTOnews.com previously reported that users reported that the shoulder straps of the Nikon Z 8 camera were not strong and would fall off for a period of time, which could damage the camera if used outdoors.

A user contacted the dealer after sale and got the following reply

What I can tell you so far is that Nikon has informed the dealer to test the camera, that is, with a rope. Nikon plans to measure subsequent recalls based on these test results.

Foreign technology media notebookcheck also learned from internal sources that Nikon has advised dealers to test shoulder straps before selling Z-8 cameras.

Nikon is currently conducting an investigation and expects the recall process to be launched soon.
