Hangzhou Asian Games e-sports event schedule announced: a total of 9 competition days, will produce 7 gold medals
CTOnews.com, July 29, Hangzhou Asian Organizing Committee today announced the total schedule of the Hangzhou Asian Games version 2.2, in which the intellectual event-e-sports will last from September 24 to October 2, a total of nine competition days, seven gold medals will be decided.
CTOnews.com previously reported that e-sports will become an official event of the Asian Games for the first time at the Hangzhou Asian Games in September this year. E-sports events of this Asian Games include League of Legends, Arena of Valor (Asian Games version), Game for Peace (Asian Games version), Dota 2, Mengsanguo 2, Jieba 5 and FIFA Online 4.
In addition, the Japanese Aichi Nagoya Asian Organizing Committee also confirmed in early July that e-sports will be selected for the 2026 Aichi Nagoya Asian Games, but the specific sports have not yet been announced.
In addition to e-sports, bridge, chess, go and chess are also included in the intellectual events of the Hangzhou Asian Games. E-sports competitions will all be held at the newly built e-sports Center in Hangzhou, China.
