The penetration rate of new energy vehicles in the Netherlands reached 45% in June, and Tesla Model Y was the best seller.

According to EV Volumes, the number of new passenger cars registered in the Netherlands rose 38 per cent year-on-year to 41366 in June, while new energy vehicles reached 18792, up 86 per cent from a year earlier, of which more than 2/3 were pure electric vehicles, up 89 per cent from a year earlier, while market share increased to 33 per cent.
In other words, 45% of newly registered passenger cars in the Netherlands in June support charging, and the share of new energy vehicles is expected to soon exceed 50%.
Registration of new cars:
Pure electric vehicles: about 13780 (up 89% year on year), accounting for 33%

Total: 18792 vehicles (86% year-on-year increase), accounting for 45%
In the first half of this year, the Netherlands has registered more than 84000 new energy vehicles, accounting for about 42 per cent of the market.
Pure electric vehicles: about 58300, accounting for 29%
Plug-in hybrid vehicles: about 26200, accounting for 13%
Specifically, Tesla Model Y is the highest registered new energy model in the Netherlands in June, and it is also the best-selling model as a whole.
After Tesla, Peugeot eMub 208 came in second with 1165 vehicles, followed by Tesla Model 3, both surpassing Lecker 01 PHEV and Volvo XC40.

From January to June this year, the top new energy vehicle brands in the Netherlands were Tesla (10.9%), Volvo (9.4%), BMW (8.0%), Peugeot (6.9%) and Volkswagen (6.7%).
Among the automobile groups, the largest number of registrations are Geely Volvo (including Lecker and Polar) 16.5% heroin Stellantis (16.4%), Volkswagen Group (14.5%), Tesla (10.9%) and Hyundai Kia (10.2%).
