Blizzard: using the Diablo 4 modifier may result in permanent closure
CTOnews.com, July 30 (Xinhua)-- Blizzard recently warned players of Diablo 4 that they may face the risk of permanent closure if they use any tool that modifies the game.
Blizzard specifically mentioned a tool called TurboHUD, which enhances the game's user interface and provides more customization options. However, the tool is not free, and players have to pay a monthly fee of $12 (CTOnews.com Note: about 86 yuan) through the developer's Discord server, and are now likely to lose their game account.
Blizzard explained that because Diablo 4 is an online game, any tool that modifies the game may affect the game experience of other players.
CTOnews.com noted that Blizzard and Activision have extended their online requirements to other games with single-player mode, such as Wolf 4: the time has come and more recently the call of Duty series. Even if you buy these games on the Steam platform, you need to maintain an Internet connection to play them. Currently, only reproductions of StarCraft II and some Blizzard classic games, such as StarCraft: remake, Warcraft 3: recasting and Diablo 2: resurrection, are allowed to play offline.
