CTOnews.com, August 2 (Xinhua) German archaeologists found the skull of a 45, 000-year-old woman in the Czech Republic in 2021, and now an international team of scholars from Brazil, Australia and Italy have used the broken skull to build a model to restore her facial features.

Named by archaeologists as "Zlat arrow k / golden horse", she was the first Homo sapiens to live in Eurasia after human migration from Africa. Her genome carries about 3 per cent Neanderthal ancestry.

The project was led by Brazilian graphics expert C í cero Moraes, who and his team used statistics recorded by researchers in 2018 to restore "the oldest human" faces through two CT scans.
