Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues about the past. CTOnews.com news on August 3, according to a report on the website of Radio Television Hong Kong, Qin Sizhao, President-designate of Lingnan University of Hong Kong, said today that Lingnan University of Hong Kong has decided to accept the AI wave, and that at present, the university has purchased a license for ChatGPT 3.5 for the whole school, and will provide corresponding technical training to teaching staff and students.

Qin Sizhao said that the School of Business of Lingnan University in Hong Kong will offer a course on artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) in the general education course next semester. Lingnan University will also invest resources to purchase a series of AIGC licenses, while other departments will also follow suit to popularize AI applications. Professors can decide for themselves when students can use AI tools such as GPT in their written assignments.

In addition, Qin Sizhao said that students participating in the relevant courses need to submit a list of what they wrote in their assignments and papers by GPT. At the same time, the professor also asks students to summarize their thoughts and conclusions in the list to ensure that students can get their own knowledge from it.

The education community has gradually incorporated AI tools into the teaching process. CTOnews.com reported earlier that Japan's Ministry of Education announced a guidance program in June this year to allow limited use of ChatGPT-like generative artificial intelligence in primary, junior and senior high schools.
