Foreign media speculate that the launch of Apple's new products will be held on September 13, and operators have told employees not to take a holiday.

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com August 4 news, foreign media 9to5Mac quoted a number of informed sources, because of an important smartphone activity, mobile operators have been asking employees not to take a holiday on September 13.

That doesn't necessarily mean the launch is about Apple, but the company is known for hosting iPhone events in September. Although most iPhone launches are held on Tuesday, last year's event was held on Wednesday, Sept. 7. Since September 13 is also Wednesday, it is reasonable to speculate that Apple will choose this day to host next month's special event.

If Apple releases a new iPhone on September 13, pre-orders are expected to begin on Friday, September 15, and go on sale a week later on September 22. Compared with last year, pre-orders for iPhone 14 began on September 9 and went on sale in stores on September 16. Of course, there may be some exceptions.

Last year, the iPhone 14 Plus went on sale on October 7 due to supply problems. A similar delay occurred in 2020, affecting the release of iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini. Some analysts predict that at least one iPhone 15 may be delayed this year, while others believe that sales of all new models will begin in September, despite "severe shortages".

According to previous revelations, the design of the iPhone 15 series has been slightly changed, with slightly curved edges and thinner borders around the display. All four new models will use Smart Island and USB-C instead of using the Lightning interface. For the Pro model, Apple is expected to replace the stainless steel frame with a titanium frame.
