In the era of electric vehicles, Volkswagen is reshaping the GTI brand

CTOnews.com August 4 news, according to foreign auto media Carbuzz reported, Volkswagen recently submitted an application to the German Patent and Trademark Office, changed the LOGO of GTI, the last letter "I" changed to lightning logo.

At present, Volkswagen still uses the "GTX" brand in the field of electric vehicles. CarBuzz speculates that there are two possibilities: one is that Volkswagen chooses GTI instead of GTX brand; the other is GTX for future pure electric models and GTI for hybrid models.
