In response, Sony customer service said that Meizu weather plus advertising behavior is not Sony and Meizu cooperation content, has urgently contacted Meizu for clearance, is expected to be offline soon.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Sony and Meizu reached a partnership in October 2021 to pre-install App adapted to Flyme app stores, mailboxes, weather, news and information on Sony Xperia phones.

Subsequently, in May 2022, the two sides further expanded the scope of cooperation by adding Meizu Flyme negative one screen, picture library, information, intelligent voice assistant and Security Center to the Xperia 1 IV phone.

It is worth mentioning that in July 2022, when Sony was investigating the Xperia mobile phone system, it asked users if they wanted to fully use Meizu Flyme. However, there was no sound of further cooperation between the two sides.
