The Orange Pi 3B is roughly the same size and shape as the company's Orange Pi 3, launched more than four years ago, but with improved performance and a different interface layout.

First, the board's processor was upgraded to the Rockchip RK3566, featuring four ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores at 2 GHz, Mali-G52 EE graphics, and an AI neural processing unit that supports 1TOPS.

Second, Orange Pi 3B supports 2GB, 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x memory, 16GB to 256GB of eMMC storage, and 16MB or 32MB of SPI flash memory.

Finally, the Orange Pi 3B includes multiple size connectors, and its M.2 slot supports PCIe 2.0 NVMe or SATA SSDs. The board's complete interfaces include:

1 x USB 3.0 Type-A

3 x USB 2.0 Type-A

1 x USB Type-C (for 5V / 3A power input)

1 x microSD card reader

The Orange Pi 3B also has an interface for adding a fan or RTC battery, and a CDTech 20U5622 wireless module that supports WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Orange Pi 3B size 85 x 56 mm, weighs 49 grams, and supports a wide range of operating systems, including Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Android 11, open-source Hongmeng OpenHarmony, and the company's own Orange Pi operating system.

The Orange Pi 3B starts at $35 (CTOnews.com notes: currently about 251 yuan) on the base model with 2GB of memory and no storage, and can be upgraded up to 8GB of memory and 256GB of eMMC storage, now available on Amazon.
