Musk's $50,000 rental house was exposed inside: rocket-shaped objects, samurai swords.
August 8 (Xinhua) biographer Walter Walter Isaacson posted a picture on X on Sunday, local time, showing the inside of Elon Musk's mysterious rental house worth $50, 000.
"in 2020, Musk decided to sell his five luxury homes and make a modest two-bedroom house in Bokachica, Texas, his main residence," Isaacson wrote in a post on X. We meet there, and he will sit at this wooden table and make a phone call. "
The biographer also revealed that he will publish a biography of Musk on September 12, in which he explains why Musk decided to sell all his luxury homes. The billionaire has said in the past that he wants to sell all his possessions to fund his plan to one day establish a colony on Mars.

In Isaacson's picture, Musk seems to have a samurai sword, many rocket-shaped objects or sculptures, and some games on his coffee table. Musk was photographed wearing a Tesla "Plaid Mode" jacket hanging from a chair.
Musk is a science fiction enthusiast with posters of a science fiction magazine called Amazing Stories on his dinner table.
The poster, posted on the wall of Musk's rental house, is currently on sale on Posterazzi.com for $32.83. The cover depicts Henry Gade's science fiction Liners of Space, in which art shows large-scale transport spaceships. This is reminiscent of Musk's grand plans for the SpaceX starship, which he says he eventually wants to use to transport humans to and from Mars.
This is not the first time we have seen Musk's private life. Last year, Tesla, the chief executive, shared a photo of him on the nightstand of X. The photo shows several cans of decaffeinated Diet Coke and two imitation guns.
In 2020, Musk announced that he would "sell all his physical property and no longer own any property". A few weeks later, his five luxury homes were listed for sale on Zillow. In 2021, Musk sold his last house for $30 million after he said he had started renting a house from SpaceX for $50, 000.
There were earlier reports that a Boxabl prefabricated house called "Casita" had been delivered to SpaceX. At the time, Musk denied living in a modular house, saying he lived in another small house in Texas. But in July 2022, he admitted on a podcast that he owned a prefabricated house in Boxabl and used it as a guest room.
Musk's current residence does not seem to be as luxurious as his previous mansion, where he has held lavish parties, including a Gatsby-themed event. In 2020, Musk's old friend Kanye West shared a photo taken in a house in Musk. The photo shows the two men seem to be in a large room with a life-size replica of a robot in front of the glass wall.
Musk is believed to be building another house for himself in Texas. Last month, the Wall Street Journal reported that one of the projects that led to Tesla's internal review might be Musk's "glass house." Earlier this year, the Wall Street Journal reported that Musk was building a corporate town called Snailbrook in Texas, where he planned to build a private compound for himself.
