Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for the clue delivery! Dungeon Beyond App recently announced that co-artists will no longer be allowed to use AI tools to create illustrations for their Dungeons and Dragons characters and scenes, CTOnews.com reported on August 8.

The official announcement came after fans found a game illustration and found that the giant wielding an axe in the picture was a little strange, and then contacted the authorities to ask where it came from.

Hasbro, the owner of digital Beyond, said it was only after receiving feedback from players on Saturday that he discovered that artists who had been working with him for nearly a decade were using AI to create illustrations. Hasbro said he had communicated with the artist and adjusted the rules accordingly.
