According to the armor, the CD8P series of SSDs are designed for mixed use and read-intensive workloads, with the all-weather reliability expected by data center-class SSDs.

The armor CD8P series comes in E3.s and U.2 shapes and offers capacity specifications ranging from 1.6TB to 30.72TB:

Sequential read speed up to 12000 MB/s

Sequential write speed up to 5500 MB/s

Random read 4K IOPS can reach 2000000

Random write 4K IOPS can reach 400000

CD8P SSD uses Armor's proprietary SSD platform, including its own NVM 2.0 compatible master, firmware and 112 layers of BICS 5 3D TLC NAND particles, to support seventh-generation flash chip failure protection to ensure reliable data storage, power loss protection, and end-to-end data protection.

In addition to the regular CD8P models, the armor will also provide models that support Sanitize Instant Erase (SIE) and Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) functions. At the same time, CD8P will not have the FIPS SED function.
