China Mobile said that compared with the traditional HD set-top box, which only provides video and audio entertainment functions such as broadband TV for families, the discerning eye set-top box can carry a wide range of functions, such as audio-visual entertainment, security surveillance, video calls, healthy pension, AI fitness, somatosensory games and other functions.

As can be seen from the official promotional map, the set-top box is equipped with voice assistants to support video calls, entertainment, cinema and other functions.

In terms of specific hardware, China Mobile posted an internal picture, but the parameters are not detailed. The discerning eye set-top box is equipped with 4-core 1.8GHz processor, 4K decoding, 2GB + 32GB storage, 2K wide-angle lens in front, AI intelligent detection, and speaker + dual microphone array.
