"Baird's Gate 3" surpassed "tears of the Kingdom" and became the highest-rated game in M Station of the year.

CTOnews.com, August 10 (Xinhua)-- Baird Gate 3, a role-playing game developed by Larian Studios, has surpassed Legend of Zelda: tears of the Kingdom to become the highest-rated new game in 2023, with almost unanimous acclaim, according to the latest data from Metacritic.

CTOnews.com noted that Baird Gate 3 now has a total score of 97, making it the highest-rated new game in 2023 and one of the highest-rated games ever, surpassing the Legend of Zelda: tears of the Kingdom (96) to the top of the list in 2023.

"Baird's Gate 3" is a very large game, there are not many comments on the day of release, only gradually appeared a few days after the release, but many mainstream media have not commented on the game. As a result, the total score of Baird Gate 3 is still fluctuating and is bound to change.

In addition, Baird's Gate 3 has not yet been released on all platforms. The PS5 version of Baird Gate 3 won't be available until Sept. 6, when more comments can be expected. This is important for some comment summary sites, such as OpenCritic, but because Metacritic classifies games by platform, the PS5 version does not affect the rating of the PC version on the site.

Baird's Gate 3 is currently available on the PC platform on August 3, and the PS5 version will be released on September 6, and a Xbox version of the game is also under development.
