Completed locally, Firefox Firefox invites users to test the native web page translation function

CTOnews.com, August 10, Mozilla recently invited Beta channel users to test the native web translation function of Firefox, the Firefox browser.

The Firefox 117 Beta version currently supports translation into multiple languages, and Mozilla says it will add more languages in the future.

Users visit any page and can choose to translate in the pop-up dialog box by clicking the translation icon on the address bar or by selecting the "translate Page" option from the menu.

CTOnews.com Note: Mozilla indicates that the whole translation process is done locally, so it is found that the translation speed is not fast after testing.

The "Translation" area has also been added to the settings panel, where you can install the language of offline translation, set the language, or automatically translate into a certain language for the specified website.
