BwE said the PS5 Slim is about 5cm shorter than the current PS5, but "not much thinner", the cooling vents are smaller, and the curve of the optical drive is smaller, making the curve in the middle of the fuselage look "a little strange".

A post posted by ▲ source BwE also found that the developer said there were "two ugly black slits" on each side of the PS5 Slim machine shell, two USB-C ports on the front and the classic "triangle, circle, fork, square" logo relief on the back of the Sony PlayStation handle.

BwE also claims to have a video of PS5 Slim, but is weighing whether to publish it.

Foreign media SegmentNext said that if the developer's information is true, then PS5 Slim undoubtedly looks a little disappointing-"not only is it not much thinner, it is not even good-looking."

However, foreign media also said that the device seen by the developer may only be an early prototype or development machine of PS5 Slim, and does not represent the final appearance of PS5 Slim.
