CTOnews.com August 11 news, Kunlun Wanwei Group issued an announcement, recently, Kunlun Wanwei's holding subsidiary Tiangong Technology and the global metacosmos leader Meta signed an agreement on XR equipment product development.
According to the announcement, Tiangong Technology is responsible for developing a version of StarMaker VR for use on Meta Quest 2 and its iterative equipment, and Meta will evaluate and pay business cooperation incentive payments to Tiangong Technology in accordance with the delivery of development milestones.
According to CTOnews.com query, StarMaker is a Kara OK app that claims to be the world's largest music social entertainment platform, with more than 60 million loyal users. The VR version is now available in Oculus stores and Steam stores.
In the second half of 2021, Kunlun Wanwei started to build "the world's first VR singing social platform", and StarMaker VR successfully joined the Oculus developer support program in November 2022.
