Tesla issued the first license authorizing Hollis to produce NACS car charging interfaces.
CTOnews.com The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) announced in June that it will standardize Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) interface to ensure that any supplier and manufacturer can use, manufacture or deploy NACS charging interfaces on electric vehicles and charging stations in North America.
Tesla has granted Volex, a large British power equipment manufacturer, its first production license for charging connectors to produce NACS charging interfaces.
