CTOnews.com, August 12 (Xinhua)-- A scientific mission has caught a new undersea creature off the coast of Antarctica, with 20 arms and a unique body structure, with a "head" that looks a bit like strawberries.
The scientific mission launched an expedition between 2008 and 2017 to find "mysterious" marine life and named it "Promachocrinus", also known as "Antarctic feather stars", after discovering the species.
The team says weird-looking terrorist creatures live between 65 feet and 6500 feet below the surface, and although similar to other invertebrate marine animals such as starfish and sea cucumbers, their swimming posture and appearance are unique.
