CTOnews.com August 12 news, whistleblower "harukaze5719" today found news about AMD's new generation of Threadripper thread ripper.

According to the exposed cargo list, AMD's new generation Threadripper thread ripper currently has three models, 7945WX/ 7985WX / 7995WX, whose power consumption seems to have increased from 280W to 350W.

AMD's flagship Threadripper model is the PRO 5995WX, which features 64 cores, 128 threads, 4.5GHz acceleration, 256MB L3 cache, and a default TDP of 280W.

CTOnews.com summarizes Threadripper 7000 as follows:

The processors will be divided into two platforms, workstation and HEDT, based on AMD Zen4 CPU architecture. Threadripper PRO 7000 series can process up to 96 cores, support 8 channels of memory, have 128 PCIe 5.0 channels, and do not support overclocking. Threadripper 7000 supports 4 channels of memory, has 64 PCIe 5.0 channels, and supports overclocking.

AMD hasn't announced a release date for the Threadripper 7000 yet, with news that it will be released in September this year.
